Valtitude, formerly known as Demand Planning LLC, provides specialized consulting for Demand Planning, Sales and Operations planning (S&OP), Sales Forecasting, and Supply Chain Optimization.
Valtitude was founded by ex-Gillette/P&G Senior Managers in 2004 as Demand Planning Net. Our initial focus was to help companies with process and strategy implementations for Demand Planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Over the years, we have grown to help many Fortune 500 companies and Small and Medium-sized businesses in their end-to-end supply chain transformation process.
We have helped a variety of businesses across multiple industry verticals create value through SCM analytics and diagnostics, process re-design, solution implementations, and customized on-site trainings.

Mark Chockalingam, Founder and President

Dr. Mark Chockalingam is the Founder and President of Valtitude, a strategy and solutions consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA, specializing in Demand Forecasting, S&OP, and end-to-end supply chain transformation. Founded in 2004, Valtitude serves Fortune 500 companies and mid-market businesses across industries including Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, High-Tech, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, and Oil & Gas. Dr. Chockalingam is also the Founder and Chief Architect of PlanVida, Valtitude’s cloud-based supply chain planning platform.
Mark has over twenty years of consulting and corporate experience in Predictive Analytics, Sales Forecasting, Supply Chain Optimization, and Integrated Business Planning. His primary focus is on delivering usable planning solutions — having re-engineered the processes and systems of many Fortune 500 companies.
Mark has consulted for many marquee names including Wyeth-Pfizer, Miller SAB, FMC, Labatt USA, Pepsi Foods, Schlumberger, Honeywell, Facebook (now Meta), Qualcomm, Tropicana Brands, Prestige Healthcare, Cuisinart, Abbott, and Mars Petcare, among others.
Prior to founding Valtitude, Mark held key supply chain leadership positions at FedEx, Schering-Plough/Merck, and Gillette/P&G. He began his career as a Technical Advisor with the International Forecasting Group at Federal Express in Memphis. He then managed the Demand Planning process for the Suncare, Footcare, and OTC businesses at Schering-Plough/Merck, before joining The Gillette Company in Boston as Director of Market Analysis and Demand Planning. At Gillette now Procter & Gamble, he played a key role in the supply chain transformation of the North American business and the formation of the North American Value Chain Group.
Mark holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Past President of the ASCM Massachusetts Minuteman Chapter.
